Six Tri-State Activities to Make You Feel Like a Kid Again
Today (July 8th) is recognized at 'Be a Kid Again' day. It's a day to put aside the minutia of everyday adult life and remind ourselves of what it's like to be a kid. I promise that 'real' life will still be there tomorrow. So how about, for at least one day, you ignore that adult voice in your head, you go against your better judgment, you stop worrying about what other people might think, and you just be silly and act like a kid.
Here are just a few of the many things you can do around town to relive your youth.
Visit cMoe
It's right there in the name for crying out loud! The Children's Museum of Evansville is not just for kids, I promise! In addition to having a good time, I bet you'll also learn something. Imagine that!
Bounce at SkyZone
Throw on a pair of those cool socks (you get to keep 'em!) and hit the trampoline! And while you're at it, try the new ninja course and climbing wall!
Ice Skating at Swonder
Stay upright (hopefully) and stay cool this summer.
Go to a Playground
I couldn't tell you the last time I got on a swing, or went down a slide, or swung across the monkey bars. There is certainly no shortage of great parks and playgrounds to choose from. Have you been to Mickey's Kingdom yet?
Play Putt-Putt
Midget Links is one of the oldest mini-golf courses in the country! And Walther's offers two different courses...indoors and outdoors.
Go to the Arcade
Have you played an arcade game recently? They have gotten really, really cool since we were kids. Plenty of choices here...Walthers, Gatti Town, Chuck E. Cheese, the FEC in Newburgh. And if you're looking for old school games, don't forget about Secret Headquarters and High Score Saloon.
