When and Where is The Longest Sidewalk Sale in Evansville?
If you love hunting for bargains, scoring unique finds, and strolling down one of the prettiest streets in Evansville, then you have to check out the 7th Annual Downtown Evansville Sidewalk Sale. As someone who keeps a close eye on all things happening downtown, I can tell you—this is one of the most fun events of the year.
What You’ll Find (It’s More Than Just Yard Sale Stuff)
This isn't your average garage sale. Downtown’s Sidewalk Sale is like a pop-up marketplace packed with:
Yard sale treasures
Handmade goodies
Vintage finds
Local makers selling creative stuff
Boutique deals
Community members cleaning out their closets

Make a Day of It
One of my favorite parts? After you shop, you’re already downtown! Grab lunch, sip on a latte or a mimosa, yes, please! and explore local shops. It's also the perfect chance to pick up Mother’s Day gifts and treat yourself.
The 7th annual Sidewalk Sale, presented by Heritage Federal Credit Union, will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 9 AM to 2 PM on Main Street in Downtown Evansville (between 2nd and 6th Streets).

Want to Be a Vendor?
Got some awesome stuff you want to sell? Maybe you're having a bit of a spring cleanout and have some great yard sale finds? Well, guess what? You can snag a 10' x 10' space right on Main Street! They're even welcoming yard sale items, which is super cool. If you're interested in being a vendor, you can fill out the application form right here: https://downtownevansville.rja.revize.com/forms/10878. Get your application in soon!
Watch Out for Scammers
This event is only organized by Downtown Evansville Indiana. If you see anyone else claiming they’re accepting vendors, or asking for payment through sketchy emails, it’s a scam. The only real communication will come from:
