I love a good kitchen gadget. If I had more cabinets or counter space I would probably have one of everything. But, I actually don't have a pressure cooker. I'm terrified of having it explode.

Are Pressure Cookers Dangerous?

I can't tell you from experience, but I do know that anything with pressure or propane scare me. The idea of all that pressure building up? Nope! But some of them also air fry, so I was considering it. Well, guess what? My fears were kind of validated because there's a HUGE recall on SharkNinja Foodi multi-function pressure cookers.

Apparently, the pressure-cooking lid can open while it's still, you know, pressurizing, and hot stuff can come flying out. Seriously, people have reported some pretty bad burns. Like, second and third-degree burns! That's terrifying!

So, if you have one of these, STOP using the pressure cooker part immediately. The good news is you can still use it for air frying and other functions, but seriously, be careful.
