Saturday’s Festivities at the 2017 West Side Nut Club Fall Festival
This Saturday, October 7th is the final day to enjoy the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival. We've enjoyed the beautiful weather, great food, hangin' with family, co-workers, and friends, rides, games, and more! But, there's more! Don't miss all the events going on tomorrow including My 105.3 WJLT in the Main Parade:
The Pet Parade - 9am
Sponsored by the Pet Food Center and the West Side Nut Club, the parade will travel west on West Franklin past the main stage. Line up will be at St. Boniface's parking lot starting at 8 am. There are 8 categories in which participants may win an award. Cash and trophies will be awarded to the first 3 places in each category.
Rides and Park Concessions - 10 am
Kiddy rides and park rides will operate from 10 am - 11 pm. Ride specials: 10 am - 9 pm. Pay One Price wristbands. This allows anyone wearing a wrist band to ride until closing for flat rate of $20. Ticket prices are $1.25 each. A block of 22 tickets may be purchased for $25.
Entertainment - 12 noon - 2 pm
Patriotic Soul
Main Parade - 4:30 pm
The parade will have approximately 100+ units featuring Marching Bands, floats, and a variety of other entries, including the My 105.3 WJLT vehicle. Deb Turner will be driving in the parade, so be sure to wave when she drives by! This year's Grand Marshall is Jerad Eickhoff, starting pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies and a 2009 Mater Dei High School alumni.
The West Side Nut Club Float contest will award 3 top prizes for the Best 3 decorative floats as voted by the Fall Festival participants.
