Sarah Jessica Parker is Bringing Back Carrie Bradshaw for a Very Special Reason
Sarah Jessica Parker is reviving her role as Carrie Bradshaw.
Over the weekend, the actress shared a video on Instagram teasing the return of her Sex and the City character. Set to the iconic SATC intro, the clip features SJP strutting down the streets of New York City—and even though it's brief, the sight of Carrie again is enough to get us excited. In the vid, SJP Carrie is seen donning her signature haute couture style, complete with a pair of fabulous white lace heels, a beaded purse, and a tulle skirt.
"My old friend. She is making a brief reappearance. Partnering with a great brand and supporting a cause we all care about. More to come. X, SJ," she wrote.
Fans went wild for the post, of course, and so did celebs like Andy Cohen and Katherine Schwarzenegger, who commented "omg omg omg."
It's too soon to tell why she's bringing back her beloved character, but we can probably rule out a third Sex and the City movie since our hopes and dreams for a threequel were crushed last year after SJP and co-star Kim Cattrall reignited their longtime feud.
