As you have probably noticed, there's a lot of people headed to the grocery store in response to COVID-19. People are trying to be prepared in response to social distancing and possible nationwide lockdown. To keep up with demand and sanitizing efforts, many stores are changing their hours. Ruler issued this statement today:

Beginning Sunday, March 15, 2020, Ruler Foods will temporarily change store operating hours to adapt to increased customer demands. Divisional President Dustin Goodpaster says, “We want to be a good neighbor to the communities we serve. We’re modifying store hours on a temporary basis to accommodate the arrival of additional shipments of products.”

Stores will adjust to 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM on days when additional trucks arrive. Stores will post temporary signage notifying customers about modified hours and a complete list of stores with altered schedules is available daily online at www.RulerFoods.com/hours

“We have been so impressed with the hard-work of our in-store teams as they work to accommodate additional customers in our busy stores.” Goodpaster continues, “We understand our responsibility in taking care of our associates and customers during this time. This extra time will allow our teams to sanitize, receive trucks, and stock our shelves in anticipating our customers’ needs.” Regular store hours of 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM will be observed unless noted.
