Ping Pong Player Is the Worst Sore Loser in the History of Sore Losers
One of the hallmarks of growing is learning to lose with grace. That's a trait this ping pong player has clearly yet to acquire.
During this table tennis tournament in Russia, the two players shake hands after the match, at which point the loser shoves the umpire -- also a child -- out of his chair.
Perhaps even more amazing than the confrontational act is the fact no one in the crowd makes a move to jump in and stop things before they have a chance to spiral out of control.
Maybe things are different in Russia, but poor sportsmanship is poor sportsmanship regardless where you are on the globe. And it's shame this happened in ping pong, where we'd rather see cool things like this.
