Week #11 of Friday After 5 is here and this week's lineup is fire!  Two FA5 favorites are returning to downtown Owensboro to take the stage this weekend.

Your Lineup for Week #11 of Friday After 5 in Owensboro

The 25th Anniversary Season of Friday After 5 continues. It's Week #11 and here's a look at who's taking the stages tonight along the "Mile of Music."
Latasha Shemwell is a local singer/songwriter who's been earning raves for her recent neo-soul releases.  Here's a look at one of Latasha's latest video singles.

Friday After 5 favorite Payton Taylor is back as well.  Payton is a two-time contestant on ABC's American Idol and is a former runner-up in WBKR's Friday Night Fight talent contest.  She is incredible and will be closing out the night on the Ruoff Party Stage.  Here's a little sample of what to expect from Payton.

And, Caribou, one of the most popular bands each and every Friday After 5 season, is back and they'll be headlining the Jagoe Homes Patio Stage at the RiverPark Center.

Of course, I want to take a moment to talk about next week.  Though Week #11 isn't over, here at WBKR, we're looking ahead to Week #12 and the finale of our talent contest, the Friday Night Fight.  Join us at 6pm on Friday, August 6th at the Jagoe Homes Patio Stage.  Eight finalists will be taking the stage in a series of head-to-head knockout rounds.  The last singer or band standing is going to win $1000 and the right to take the Ruoff Party Stage on the season finale night at FA5 and serve as the official opening act for the huge Boy Band event featuring members of Backstreet Boys, NSYNC and 98 Degrees.
