Patti’s 1800’s Settlement in Kentucky Hosting Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre
Not only can you find beautiful views and delicious food, but you can also take part in some fun entertainment at Patti's this fall.
Patti's 1800's Settlement in Grand Rivers, Kentucky is located in the heart of Land Between the Lakes in between Kentucky and Barkley Lakes. My family and I have been going there for years. I frequented the area in college when I attended Murray State. If you've never been, it's seriously worth the trip. Patti's is only about 2 1/2 hours away from the Evansville area, so it isn't too far at all. Aside from the lakes and views, Patti's offers great dining, beautiful gardens, unique gift shops, a miniature golf course, a festival of lights at night, and so much more.
This fall, they are adding a pretty fun event that I would love to be a part of. Patti's 1800's Settlement will be hosting a murder mystery dinner theatre, called "Murder Country Style" on Friday, October 22nd, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM. According to the event page:
Someone has been sending threatening letters to Tucker Stumpp, head of the Stumpp Family Singers. The entire family, including nephews Flint (the hunk) and Eugene (the dweeb), and twins, Doreen and Mae Rue, come under suspicion. The bodyguard, Patrick J., joins with local police to try and find the killer. A fun, entertaining night of laughs and great music while you enjoy a delicious Patti’s dinner.
If you know anything about Patti's, then you know that they have some of the best pork chops ever. As it turns out, those will be on the menu for the murder mystery dinner, so I highly recommend getting that. However, you really can't go wrong with anything on their menu.
The event is sold by tables, with limited seating. So, if you want to find out more about what to expect with the murder mystery dinner theatre, how to get your tickets, you can visit the event page by clicking here. As I said, there is a lot to see in that area, so while you're at it, visit Patti's website to see what else you can do while you're there too.
