‘Outer Banks’ Star, Chase Stokes, Spotted in Evansville, Indiana
Over the weekend, the star of one of the biggest shows on Netflix was spotted in Evansville.
Outer Banks is a popular show on Netflix that is centered around teen, John B, his three best friends, and girlfriend who are hunt for a legendary treasure linked to his father's disappearance. The show has been on for three seasons, and I must admit that it's really good. My 14-year-old, and I love to watch the show together, and she loves John B. Well, she got the surprise of a lifetime this weekend when we spotted John B himself, played by actor, Chase Stokes, in Evansville. Why was he in town? Well, if you follow any of the latest country music gossip, you know. If not, I'll give you the rundown.
On Saturday, May 20th, Kenny Chesney made a stop on his "I Go Back Tour" at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. Opening up for Kenny was singer, Kelsea Ballerini. In February, 2023, Ballerini and Stokes confirmed that they were dating. They even made it more official when Chase accompanied Kelsea to the 2023 CMT Music Awards.
So, knowing that they were dating, I told my girl, Jaelin, on the way to the concert that it's possible that Chase will be there to support Kelsea. She simply brushed it off as if I were making it up...you know, like all kids do with their parents.
Well, sure enough, as Kelsea was performing, one of my co-workers sent me a photo that confirmed that I, indeed, know what I am talking about. Chase Stokes was spotted in the sound booth watching Kelsea Ballerini put on an awesome show.
The look on Jaelin's face when I showed her that photo and then pointed to where exactly he was...priceless. She couldn't believe that he was actually there. I can't tell you how many times she said that she can't believe that she's in the same room as "John B."
Not too long after Kenny Chesney took the stage, Chase and Kelsea both came out to the sound booth to watch the show. This time Jaelin actually spotted them walking out and she freaked out once again. They spend the majority of the show singing and dancing as fans, just like everyone esle in the arena. They were also as excited as everyone else when Old Dominion came on stage to surpise Kenny as he began to sing "Save It For A Rainy Day."
As excited as she was for the concert, this was Jaelin's highlight of the night, and I am so happy that I got to expirence her excitement to see someone from one of her favorite shows in person. I'm sure that she's spending the day at school bragging and showing the photos to all of her friends.
