Otters Advance To Midwest Conference Finals

A Clutch Comeback Keeps the Otters' Season Alive

The Evansville Otters’ hopes of winning another Frontier League Championship are still alive! After losing game one of their Wild Card Series, the Otters came back and won two clutch games in a row over the weekend to advance to the Conference Finals, starting this week!

Bosse Field has hosted a bunch of really exciting ball games over the years, including Reitz High School and Mater Dei High School home games, and IHSAA 4A Sectional games. But this year we have a chance to see the Otters do something they haven’t done since 2016 – bring a Frontier League Championship back home to Bosse Field.

Meet The Conference Finals Opponent

Before that can happen, though, the Otters first have to win the Midwest Conference Finals, which might actually be a tougher series than the league championship. The Otters have to get past the Washington Wild Things, which led the league for most of the season. The Wild Things finished the season in second place with a record of 66-35.

Conference Finals Series Schedule and Game Times

Game one of the Conference Finals, a best-of-five series, is on Tuesday, September 15^th at Bosse Field. Game two, also at Bosse Field, takes place the following night, on Wednesday, September 16^th. First pitch for both home games is scheduled for 6:35pm. Game three will be in Washington on Friday, September 18^th, followed by games four and five, if necessary.
