Newburgh’s Blue Knights at Cal Ripken World Series [UPDATE]

The 12U Blue Knights Newburgh Junior Baseball team are currently in Branson, Missouri for the Cal Ripken World Series baseball games.  Here's an update! 

Coach Marty Watson and his team of 12 year-old boys are having a great time and still working hard as their team continues playing in the World Series.

Saturday, Aug. 3rd, the team beat California 3-2.  Also, later that day, the Blue Knights lost to Branson, 2-1.   Today, Aug. 5th, the team will take on Oregon at 4:30 pm.

You can watch the 2019 Cal Ripken Major70 World Series televised exclusively on the STADIUM network.  They will air 34 live games over eight days, including the International Championship, US Championship and World Championship on Saturday, August 10th.

The World Series tournament began August 1st and continues through this Saturday in Branson, Missouri with 9 countries representing including Japan, New Zealand, and more
