Our Pet of the Week, sponsored by Evansville Pet Sitters, is another big boy. This fella is IKE and he's ready to be adopted from It Takes a Village!

IKE is an 8-year-old Pit Mix, and he weighs about 75 pounds. IKE is a guy who gives gentle kisses and knows some basic commands. His facial markings make him look like Batman, but YOU can be HIS Super Hero by getting him out of the shelter and into your home. IKE has completed the vetting protocol and is ready for adoption, but he's also available to foster. If you're interested in IKE, please fill out an online adoption application.

Keep in mind that It Takes a Village is currently closed due to the pandemic but they are adopting and fostering by appointment only once an online application is approved. Please be patient as they are running with a slim crew while demand has been very high. And remember that they are still giving dog and cat food to those persons who are struggling at this crazy time.

All of the animals at ITV are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
