In no way, shape, fashion, or form is this Morgan Wallen's fault. That needs to be said right up front, lest anyone take that title the wrong way. No, it's just another frustrating Facebook scam, and it is making the rounds.

DEALING WITH FACEBOOK SCAMS

Like Moms throughout history have said so many times, "We can't have nice things." Mom was right. Technology is a beautiful thing, but those with the know-how can twist it into something bad for their own delight. I mean, how MANY different Facebook scams have we encountered over the last 15 years? Seriously.

This new one ropes in, arguably, country music's hottest act, and folks have fallen for it. Thankfully, however, many have not.

THE MORGAN WALLEN CONCERT FACEBOOK SCAM

The gist of it is about announcements of a 2023 Morgan Wallen concert tour along with dates and locations. And none of the concerts mentioned are on the books. In fact, Wallen just wrapped up his 2022 tour a month ago in Arlington TX, and there is nothing on his website about a 2023 tour--only a handful of dates at special events.

That hasn't stopped the scam from having legs. One of the phony dates was for a Busch Stadium show. NOPE.

In the comment section of that post, you'll find the following, and it's complete fiction.

PHONY MORGAN WALLEN CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENTS ACROSS THE NATION

There have been false posts about concerts in Louisiana and Maine, as well. Oh, and don't look for him in Charleston WV; he won't be there.

And when I was alerted to the story, it was from Valley News Live in Fargo ND. SPOILER ALERT: He's not going to Fargo, either.

PHONY MORGAN WALLEN RUPP ARENA CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT

Yes, THAT'S where I learned that Rupp Arena had been pulled into this ridiculous online malfeasance.

For the record, and unless things change, on July 28th, Morgan Wallen will be preparing for the We Fest in Detroit Lakes MN. In fact, the last time Morgan was in Lexington, the top of the calendar said 2021.

I can see why this scam came to fruition; Morgan Wallen's concerts are selling out in minutes, if not seconds. He's one of the hottest tickets on the planet. Fortunately, this nonsense has been put to bed.

Will Morgan Wallen do an official tour in 2023? He just might. But--PRO TIP--look for it on his website first.

See Inside Morgan Wallen's Recently Sold Nashville Home

Morgan Wallen has sold his Nashville home for $835,000. The country singer sold his home for a $135,000 profit five months after being filmed on his driveway using the N-word. The 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom house is a two-story house near Nashville's 8th Ave. It's over 2,700 square feet. Redfin confirmed the house sold on July 8, 2021, less than one month after it was listed.
