'Meet Us At The Mission'

We had so much fun broadcasting at The Thrift Store by Evansville Rescue Mission and Mission Grounds Coffee Shop, that we decided to take our show there once a month. We've partnered with our friends from Indiana Members Credit Union to help spread the word about everything that Your Evansville Rescue Mission does for our community.

Why We Support Evansville Rescue Mission

I have seen the amazing work that their dedicated team does to give people in need a hand up - Not a handout. The men staying at the shelter are working toward, and achieving life goals. Every day of the week anyone that needs a meal is welcome to visit the Residence Center and eat. This program is free of charge, and again, it is open for anyone, not just people staying at the shelter.

Monday – Friday: Breakfast 6:00 am, Lunch 11:30 am, Dinner 5:00 pm
Saturday: Breakfast at 7:00 am, Lunch at 11:30, and Dinner at 5:00 pm
Sunday: Breakfast at 7:00 am, Lunch at 12:00 pm, and Dinner at 5:00 pm

There are just so many ways that your Evansville Rescue Mission is working to help the less fortunate in the Tri-State. You will hear more about that and all of the upcoming events that ERM has planned for Fall 2022.

Join Bobby & Liberty from the MY Morning Show on MY 105.3 every third Tuesday of the month at Mission Grounds Coffee Shop inside Washington Square Mall. Your Evansville Rescue Mission is so much more than a men's homeless shelter. They provide a lot of services to give a hand up, not a handout. ERM has been serving Evansville, Indiana for over 100 years, thanks to volunteers.

Then & Now - Evansville's Washington Square Mall Through the Years

Evansville is home to a lot of unique buildings including the first enclosed retail shopping center in Indiana. Yes, our very own Washington Square Mall was the place to be when it opened in 1963. If you walk through the mall today, you would never guess how alive the shops were, even through the 1980s. Enjoy this walk down memory lane I've put together, and maybe someday there will be new life inside 5011 Washington Ave.
