Rolling Thunder Indiana Chapter 6, will be honoring Tri-state veterans with their annual Candlelight Vigil on Saturday, September 9th.

The program will be held near the Four Freedoms Monument on the riverfront in Evansville beginning at 6:30pm

Honored guest speaker will be Vietnam War ex-POW James Pfister.  The event will also include a presentation of the Missing Man Table, and presentations of wreaths honoring American Military of the Civil War, Spanish American War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq, and Afghanistan wars.

Rolling Thunder, Inc. is a group of dedicated citizens committed to helping American Veterans of all wars, especially those that were left behind from previous wars that were POW-MIA'S. Rolling Thunder, Inc.'s  main function is to publicize and help educate the pubic about the American Prisoners of War that were left behind. There are over 90 chapters of Rolling Thunder Inc. in 33 states.  Evansville has the largest chapter with over 220 active members.

The event will take place rain or shine.
