Grab the family and Truffle Shuffle your way to Lincoln State Park because The Goonies are coming back to the big screen.

The classic movie about a group of friends who go on an adventure to find a lost pirate treasure reportedly hidden near their town turns 35 years old this year (35 years!!! Why does back hurt all of a sudden?). To celebrate, Lincoln Amphitheater will turn their parking lot into a drive-in theater for you and your family to come and enjoy the show again, or for the first time.

The gates open at 6:00 p.m. with the show scheduled to start at 7:00. There will be games for the kids to play ahead of the show, and since it is October, and Halloween is only a few weeks away, the Friends of Lincoln Amphitheater, who are sponsoring the show, invite the kids to dress in costume for an extra layer of fun.

Tickets are on sale now for only $8.00 each with a limit of 10 tickets max.

If you've never seen The Goonies, or it's been so long that you can't quite remember what it was about, check out the trailer below. Chances are, you'll spot a number of familiar faces including a young Sean Astin (Rudy, The Lord of the Rings, Stranger Things), and the boy who would grow up wipe away half the universe with a simple snap of his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.
