What Is America’s Favorite Teacher Contest?

America’s Favorite Teacher is a nationwide competition that celebrates outstanding educators who are making a difference in their classrooms and communities. The grand prize includes $25,000 and a trip to Hawaii. And being able to brag that you are America’s Favorite Teacher is pretty sweet, too.

Why Julie Stucki Stands Out In The Classroom

Julie is the Exercise Science teacher in the Health Sciences department at the Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center. Those who know her or have been in her classroom know that she goes above and beyond to create a positive learning environment and inspire young minds. Just being nominated says a lot about the impact she has made, but the fact that she is in 4th place speaks even louder to her enthusiasm and passion for teaching!
