Jasper, Indiana Crowned 2022 Strongest Town Over Norwood, Ohio
In a bracket-style competition, the field was narrowed down to the top 16 towns in America. After several rounds of voting, and a very close final total, Jasper, Indiana has been officially named the 2022 Strongest Town.

The Strongest Town Contest is in its 7th year, and last year a town in Illinois won the competition. This contest isn't about the biggest city, it is about the towns that are showing growth and moving in the right direction to become a stronger town.
Strongest Towns Face-Off
16 towns started in this contest. Now there are just two left in the annual Strongest Town Competition. Watch representatives from Norwood, OH, and Jasper, IN face off in a friendly conversation, hosted by Jay Stange, content manager at Strong Towns.

How Close Was The Vote?
The final round was so close, with Jasper winning 51.3% of the votes to Norwood, Ohio’s 48.7%. The goal is to have other towns look to Jasper as an example of what it means to build lasting strength and resilience in their communities.
