What Is This TX Roadhouse Spinoff That’s Been Popping Up in KY?
This story gives me an opportunity to give a big shout-out, and I'm going to do it first then move on to the point at hand.
The Texas Roadhouse Spinoff Taking Hold in Kentucky
Way to go, Texas Roadhouse. Whatever your research told you about how to pack your restaurant every waking second you're open was spot on. I don't know about you, but I never see their parking lot with an empty space when they're open. I guess, then, it makes sense that a place that popular would entertain a spinoff.
But Texas Roadhouse hasn't just "entertained" a spinoff, it's already OPENED two of them in the Louisville metro with a third on the way.
Jaggers Fast Casual Adds a Third Louisville Location
Until just a couple of days ago, I had never heard of the fast-casual eatery known as Jaggers, but they way it's growing, there may soon come a time when I won't STOP hearing about them.
Jaggers is actually not very new; the Texas Roadhouse franchise has called Louisville home since, at least, 2020.
In addition to the Middletown location--set to open in just a few days on November 15th--Jaggers has already set up shop on Westport Road and Dutchmans Parkway in Louisville.
What to Expect from Jaggers
What Jaggers gives its growing list of fans and patrons is your basic fast-casual comfort food.
You want top-flight burgers, chicken sandwiches, tenders, and salads? That's what Jaggers offers. However, each of those categories is well-represented with multiple varieties on the Jaggers menu. I'm already falling in love with the green chile cheeseburger, and I've never had one. (Expect that to change.)
There are also several selections on the chicken sandwich and salad menus, as well as a variety of sides.
Also popping up across southern Indiana, Jaggers has taken hold, and I only say that because you don't go and open a THIRD restaurant if the first two did a faceplant. The only "faceplant" I can see associated with Jaggers are the many happy customers who have "planted" their faces in Jaggers' many menu options.
Bon appetit.
