Picnic season will soon be here...as far as I'm concerned. Sure, summertime is traditionally when folks head to the park of their choice and whip out the burgers, 'dogs, and potato salad. But I've never been a fan of eating all that heavy food in hot weather. For me, FALL is picnic season.

And while I have my choice of great parks in the Owensboro/Daviess County area, THOSE picnic tables all sit in one place. You'd have every to ask yourself, "But isn't that the POINT of the picnic table?" And the answer would be, "Of course it is."

But what if your picnic table had a motor and you could literally eat in multiple locations at the same time. A Utica KY man hopes to make those dreams (if you're having them) come true. Thanks to Aaron Leonard's ingenuity, there's a mobile picnic table on the block at Facebook Marketplace.

Labeled a "one-of-one" picnic-cycle, Leonard is bidding a poignant farewell to his unique creation, but not before offering recommendations for its use.

He and his collaborators suggest a jaunt into town to your favorite restaurant, although the street legality of this contraption is certainly in question. We don't condone doing that unless you do check city and county ordinances regarding such an activity.

However, it does look like they enjoyed a jaunt around the Towne Square North parking lot.

You know, it reminds me of those pedal bars that move through downtown Nashville. Maybe Aaron ought to patent this thing and see where it takes him.
