I've done the math, and as of this writing, we are 51 days away from Christmas. Even the most cynical of those who wait until much later to get into it would have to admit there's nothing wrong with getting started on your shopping.

Then again, I think even the most cynical would relent when venturing into the charming atmosphere of what looks like a perfect spot to pick up some unique gift items. If the GypsyMoon Marketplace isn't ringing any bells, that could be because it only opens twice a year at Bowling Green's Highland Stables. In other words, don't put this one off, or you'll be out of luck until next year. That's right. You get two opportunities. GypsyMoon will be open Thursday, November 7th through Saturday, November 9th. So let's hurry and look around before you start your car.

If you're looking for handmade; if you're looking for vintage; if you're looking to support local, GypsyMoon Marketplace is the holiday destination for you. But keep in mind, the GypsyMoon schedule isn't what you might expect. For example, the Thursday night session from 4 PM to 8 PM is already sold out. The next five, however, are not.

While you will miss out on all the Christmas merchandise and atmosphere if you're unable to attend this weekend, you can still enjoy the GypsyMoon Marketplace next spring. It is set up twice a year, and they're already seeking vendors, who have until February 1st to apply.

So, even though it's a marketplace, it CAN and often does sell out. If you want to go, don't wait until this GypsyMoon is full.
