Thanks to Winter Storm Blair, just leaving your house can present a multitude of hazards. Literally, everything is covered in ice. If you're like me, every step on the solid slick ground makes me nervous.

Did you know there is a "correct" way to walk in slippery winter weather? Inspired by animals who are professionals at navigating the tundra. Penguins! Yep, it may look a little silly, but it will keep you from falling and busting your business.

If only my sweet husband had taken that into consideration when he was at work the other day. He was actually walking very carefully, but still not in penguin fashion. In his defense, the area he was crossing was a slight ramp. When he got to the bottom though is when things went wrong.

His legs flipped up out from under him and he BIT. IT. Landed on his side like a cartoon character [insert Goofy holler here]. His dang hat even flew off! I would feel bad for him, but I know that when we sit on the couch tonight, he will watch Reels of other people doing the same and laughing his head off.
