Get Ready For The Dino Corn Maze Adventure At Holiday World

The dinosaurs have arrived at Holiday World just in time for Happy Halloween Weekends! The popular holiday event gets underway on Saturday, September 20th and, for the first time ever, there will be dinosaurs in the corn maze.

Holiday World's Dino Maze Adventure will feature two different corn mazes. The Dino Corn Maze Jr., which I got a sneak preview of this morning, features seven different dinosaurs and displays hidden in the maze. The Dino Corn Maze, a much larger and more challenging labyrinth, features fifteen different displays- including a Tyrannosaurus Rex that was hoisted into place today by a crane.

I was there to capture the action!

That particular T-Rex weighs an astounding 3300 pounds, hence the need for a crane. The Brachiosaurus, which towers over the center of the maze, weighs over 5000 pounds. It's certainly a 'Jurassic' sight to behold.

Before guests enter the Dino Corn Maze, they'll get a copy of the official Dinosaur Field Guide.

The guide features maps of both mazes with helpful hints about where the dinosaurs are located within them.

Here are just a few of the dinosaurs you'll encounter on your adventure- the Allosaurus, a T-Rex, a Triceratops, a Stegosaurus, a Pachycephalosaurus, a Brachiosaurus, and, yes, a few Velociraptors.

The Dinosaur Field Guide has descriptions of each dinosaur, check boxes so you can mark them off your list as your find them, and some fun dinosaur trivia.

In addition to the Dino Corn Maze Adventure, this year's Happy Halloween Weekends drone show will features dinosaurs as well. You can catch Dinos Soar in the Sky each Saturday night.
