Explore Tennessee From the Treetops on This Magical Skywalk
I've been thinking of planning a Gatlinburg trip for a while now and so far my biggest predicament is narrowing down all of the exciting things to experience in The Smoky Mountains.
The Smoky Mountains Fun Attractions & Beautiful Scenery
I know my son (well, all of us really) will LOVE the cheesy touristy attractions like Dolly's Stampede, Ripley's, and Putt-Putt on the side of a mountain. I would hope to also spend time enjoying nature. Either by staying in a cabin in the woods or finding a trail like the one that leads to a "fairy house" in the trees.
While searching the World Wide Web, I came across some pictures that looked like an enchanted forest. A glowing trail of twinkling lights lining bridges that allow visitors to walk through the tree tops.
Treetop Skywalk at Anakeesta in Gatlinburg, TN
The Treetop Skywalk is just one of the many exciting experiences you can have at Anakeesta. The longest tree walk in North America is made of 16 bridges 880 feet long and 50-60 feet in the air that wind around the forest. During the day you can try your best to spot bears and other wildlife. At night, all of the pathways light up for a magical trail you'll never forget.
Adventure Awaits at Anakeesta Theme Park
Zipline Adventures, scenic chair lifts, and a Hellbender Mountain Coaster are just a few of the exciting ways you can enjoy the beautiful mountains making memories with friends and family. Delicious food and live entertainment are the cherries on top. The next time you are in the Smoky Mountains, you have to make Anakeesta a stop during your trip.
