Ellen DeGeneres just announced a new comedy tour and she's making a stop in Nashville, TN!

Of course, Ellen started her impressive career as a stand up comic, but then starred in her own sitcom.  Following that, she made her foray into daytime television with her syndicated talk show- The Ellen DeGeneres Show. That show spent a remarkable nineteen seasons on air. Throughout the course of the show, it snagged 64 Daytime Emmy® Awards. Twelve of those awards were for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show. No other show in that category has ever won that many trophies. Throughout her entire career, Ellen has been a trailblazer.

Of course, Ellen's trophy cabinet is packed with even more hardware. She has won 12 Teen Choice Awards, five Kids' Choice Awards and 24 People's Choice Awards. Yes, that's another record.

It's been two years since The Ellen DeGeneres Show took its final bow, but its star is now going back to her roots to take hers.  This comedy tour is being hailed as her farewell tour. Ellen's Last Stand...Up kicks off next month in San Diego, California. She will wrap up the tour in August with back-to-back live tapings in Minneapolis. However, on Tuesday, August 13th, she will take the stage at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

Tickets for Ellen's Last Stand...Up Tour go on sale Friday, May 31st at 10am CST. Prices range from $55 to $95. For additional information and to get your tickets, CLICK HERE!
