I recently read a story about old traditions that will likely start going away as Millennials and Gen Z get older. I say BULL HOCKEY to at least one of them because I don't believe, for one second, a majority of members of those two generations don't enjoy going to a drive-in movie theater.

You want proof of my theory? Just visit one. Full stop.

The Drive-In That Shows Christmas Movies

Of course, most drive-in theaters call it a season at the end of October so as to take advantage of Halloween before resting for the off-season. But there's a drive-in movie theater in Kentucky that's keeping it going through the holiday season. In fact, it's become a tradition in La Grange KY.

The Sauerbeck Drive-In doesn't fool around; they take entertaining the masses VERY seriously. On the theater's website, Stephen Sauerbeck welcomes fans from far and near to enjoy the drive-in experience the way it's meant to be enjoyed:

Our facility provides friends and families with a fun and exciting evening of entertainment. Our concession stand will has all of your theatre favorites along with specialty items. Our staff will ensure you evening is comfortable and enjoyable. Our location is conveniently located just 10 min from Gene Snyder, in Oldham County.

Christmas and Holiday Movies at the Sauerbeck Drive-In

The love the Sauerbeck family has for this type of entertainment is likely why they want to keep it going as long as possible during the calendar year. And this year, the holiday offerings will more than likely keep the staff on its toes; these are the holiday classics they'll show on Thanksgiving Eve:

Additionally, holiday season blockbusters like Wicked and Moana 2 will get the full drive-in treatment.

Think about it. There are ALWAYS drive-in-type movies released in November and December, but most theaters of this type are closed for the season. So bundle up, and head to Oldham County, and get your Moana/Elphaba/Grinch/Buddy the Elf on. And Merry Christmas.
