Why Are There So Many Boston Terriers in Owensboro Right Now?

If you spend time in Downtown Owensboro this week, you'll notice it has been taken over by some adorable little pups! Boston Terriers as far as the eye can see. Why are there so many of these gorgeously goofy dogs in town?

I would say Boston Terriers have faces only a mother could love, but they've become a very popular breed over the years because of their funny personalities and quirky features. In fact, there are clubs all over the country dedicated to the bug-eyed beauties, and those clubs come together to form the Boston Terrier Club of America.

This year, they are celebrating the 130th National Specialty Show right here in Owensboro at the Owensboro Convention Center. Hosted by the Heartland Boston Terrier Club, it is appropriately themed, Run for the Rosettes since it's Derby time here in the Bluegrass State.
