The family of a man missing since last Sunday (9/15) has reported that "Dad was found and is home safe!"

No further details are available at this time, but we received a message from Kyle Caudel around 6:17 pm this evening (9/21) who asked we share the news that Rick Caudel is "home safe and sound."

Rick Caudel, a 62-year-old resident of Rockford, has been missing since Sunday, September 15, and the family is asking for the public's help in finding him.

Last Seen at Sandy Hollow Golf Course

Family members reported that he was last seen at the Sandy Hollow golf course, where he had been enjoying a day outdoors.

Rick was last known to be driving a 2013 silver Ford F150 Supercab pickup truck with a gray topper. Illinois plates #Z406490 are affixed to the vehicle. Adding to the mystery, Rick has a pull-behind camper, though its whereabouts remain unknown.

Vehicle Sightings Raise Hope

On Thursday, September 19, the truck was spotted at the intersection of Broadway and 11th, heading southbound on 11th Street.

A day later, traffic cameras recorded the pickup at the intersection of Jefferson and 6th, moving southbound at around 9:30 AM on Friday (9/20).

Family Pleads for Information

His family is deeply concerned and is urging anyone who may have seen him or has information regarding his disappearance to come forward.
