There are a couple of neighborhoods around the Land of Lincoln that immediately come to mind when I think of the "coolest" places to live.

Maybe because I'm a die-hard Cubs fan, but I can't think of a cooler neighborhood in the world than Wrigleyville, with the bars and pubs right by the National Landmark.

After spending the last year as a resident, the coolest neighborhood in Rockford is absolutely Churchills Grove.

A poll of 12,000 "city dwellers" around the world that is annually conducted by TimeOut ranking the coolest neighborhoods around the globe has been released and there are a handful of cities in the United States that made their Top 40.

According to the latest rankings, the #1 overall coolest neighborhood in the world is Laureles in Medellin, Columbia because of its "parks, tree-lined streets, yoga studios, and countless coffee shops."
