The attractions on the top floors of this world-famous building in Illinois will be going through some major changes, and visitors to Chicago will love it.

The Top Floors Of The John Hancock Building In Chicago Are being Redeveloped

I remember as a kid taking a class field trip to Chicago, and one of our stops was the John Hancock Building. Going up to the observation deck was so awesome, with the best view in the Windy City.

Many years later, my dad took me to the Signature Room on the 95th floor for a special event. That was even better to be able to have dinner while checking out the sights of the city. It was an experience I'll never forget.

Unfortunately, the iconic Signature Room closed down a couple of years ago. No one was sure what would happen with the famous restaurant. The observation deck is now known as 360 Chicago, and they are taking over that space on the top floors of the building.

According to ABC 7 Chicago...

360 Chicago has unveiled its plans to redevelop the top floors of the former John Hancock building.

Now, the 360 Chicago observation deck on the 94th floor will be expanding to include the level above.

The 96th floor is being made available as a premium event space.

Even though the historic Signature Room is long gone, I think an expanded observation deck will be a great addition to the John Hancock Building. It will allow more visitors and residents to enjoy the best view in Chicago.
