Illinois Walmart Lawsuit: Are You Eligible For A Settlement Payment?

If you've been shopping at Walmart in Illinois, you could be in for a payout thanks to a new class action lawsuit. 

According to LegalDictionary.net, a class action lawsuit is defined as a civil legal action in which one or more individuals sue a person or entity on behalf of a larger group or class of people.

For the most part that means it's a lawsuit against a company, that you either visited and purchased something from or logged into and gave personal information.

In the last five years or so it seems like every time I turn around there's another class action lawsuit, which, if you like getting money, can be a great thing.

Sure, sometimes the lawsuit are about company's using our personal information in ways they shouldn't have... but in this case, it's just about paying the wrong price for meat or produce at Walmart, so if you shop there, you should apply.

'Kukorinis v. Walmart Inc,' is currently available online for Walmart shoppers to apply for.

If you've shopped for sold-by-weight meat, poultry, pork, seafood products, certain organic oranges, grapefruit, tangerines, and naval oranges sold in bulk between October 19, 2018 and January 19, 2024, you can fill out the 'Walmart weighted groceries,' form.

You do not have to have a reciept in order to fill out the claim, you just need to fill out the form before May 22, 2024.

You will need to select what product you bought from Walmart and what year you purchased in order to fill out the form. IF the settlement goes through, you will be given an amount of money based on how many items you purchased on the list provided on the settlement site.
