Free Museum Admission Days For Illinois Residents in January 2025

If you're an Illinois resident, you can get into these different museums for free.  Some museums do require proof of residency to gain admission!

Museum of Contemporary Art - 220 E Chicago Ave, Chicago

• January 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th

Chicago History Museum - 1601 N Clark St, Chicago

• January 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st

Art Institute of Chicago - 111 S Michigan Ave, Chicago

• January 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 9th, 10th, 13th, 16th, 17th, 20th, 23rd, 24th, 27th, 30th, 31st

Adler Planetarium - 1300 S Lake Shore Dr, Chicago

• Wednesdays 4-10pm
• January 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th

Other than museums, Brookfield Zoo and the Chicago Botanic Garden have free admission days in 2025, too!
