For almost a decade now, River City Coffee and Goods has been a staple in Downtown Evansville, and they are about to branch out!

River City Goods Expands Ahead of Holiday Shopping Season

The Evansville small business is expanding just in time for the busy holiday shopping season. The locally owned shop, known for curating Evansville-made gifts and regional goods, is opening a second location inside Eastland Mall.

Since it won’t be serving coffee inside the mall location, the new storefront will simply be known as River City Goods, and you can find it in the J.C. Penney wing of the mall, where it will focus solely on unique gifts and goods.

What to Expect Inside the Eastland Mall Location

If you’ve ever shopped their Main Street storefront, you already know the vibe at River City Goods is hyper-local, thoughtfully sourced, and full of things you won’t find at a big-box store. Expect a mix of Evansville, Indiana, and Kentucky-themed apparel, candles, prints, pantry items, jewelry, home goods, gifts, and more, all created by local makers and small businesses. Think stocking stuffers and holiday gifts, teacher gifts, host gifts, and one-of-a-kind finds with real hometown pride.

A Win for Local Makers and Holiday Shoppers Alike

The mall opening means two big wins at once, with more visibility for local artists and an easy, climate-controlled place to shop small while you’re out doing your regular holiday rounds. No weather worries, no shipping delays. Just walk in, pick something made right here in our region, and wrap it up with a bow.

Whether you need a last-minute gift on the way to a party or you want to shop intentionally this season, River City Goods at Eastland Mall is a welcome addition and a major boost for the local creative economy heading into the holidays. Learn more at RiverCityEvv.com.
