If there’s one thing we do really well around here, it’s show up for a good cause… especially when there’s live music, great food, and a whole lot of community involved.

That’s exactly what makes Henderson SummerFest one of our favorite events of the year.

Henderson SummerFest Returns For Year Five

The 5th Annual SummerFest is headed back to downtown Henderson, Kentucky, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest one yet.

The event will take place at the intersection of Water and Second streets, with music kicking off at 5 PM CDT.

This fifth year feels like a true milestone for us. What started as an idea to bring people together for a great cause has grown into something the entire community supports. This year’s lineup is the biggest and most exciting yet. - Summerfest Co-Founder Jonathan Dixon

The vision of three friends and Henderson residents, Jonathan Dixon, Brian Bishop, and Greg "Moon" Mullins, Henderson SummerFest has grown into a full-blown community tradition that keeps getting bigger every year.

Free Concert Big Energy And A Stacked Lineup

Our station is a proud sponsor of the upcoming Henderson Summerfest presented by First Federal Savings Bank. The event will bring an amazing night of live entertainment while raising money for a good cause.

This year’s lineup features four acts, including headliner The Crashers, who are known for their high-energy shows and crowd interaction that keeps things moving all night long.

They’ll be joined by Paralandra, Southern Sirens, and Flat Stanley Jr., kicking things off right at 5 PM.

Translation: you’re getting a full evening of live music for the low, low price of FREE.

More Than Just A Concert

But SummerFest isn’t just about the stage. You’ll also find:

  • Local food vendors
  • A beer garden
  • Shopping booths
  • Activities for kids

It’s one of those events where you can bring the whole crew, hang out for hours, and never run out of things to do.

A Festival That Gives Back

This is the part that really matters.

Every year, SummerFest supports a local nonprofit, and for 2026, the beneficiary is Experiencing Autism Together, an organization that provides resources and support for individuals and families affected by autism.

The event is free to attend, but donations are encouraged, and they make a real difference right here in the community. Donate now at SummerfestKY.com.

VIP Tables Available For The Ultimate Experience

If you want to level things up a bit, there are a limited number of VIP tables available.

Each table seats eight and includes premium viewing plus meet-and-greet opportunities with the artists.

Why This Event Keeps Growing Every Year

There’s a reason SummerFest keeps getting bigger.

It’s not just the music. It’s not just the food.

It’s the fact that it brings people together for something that actually matters.

A free night out. A great lineup. And a chance to support a local cause all at the same time.

That’s a win across the board.

12 Excellent Reasons to Visit Henderson KY

I've always enjoyed Henderson KY. Its downtown has always been well-maintained, with lots of local businesses that have been in operation for years. But branch out away from Main Street and you'll see that the city and its namesake county have a lot to offer.

This Quirky Henderson 'Hidden Gem' is a Vintage Lover's Dream

I love treasure hunting! One of my favorite local shops to visit is Corkscrew Curiosities in Henderson. In an old house at 920 2nd St. is the most adorable little quirky haven of vintage treasures, books old and new, trinkets, stickers, fidgets, clothes, jewelry, local art, and even some wild oddities. Here's just a taste of this unique must-visit spot.
