It's almost Santa's time to shine. But, before he hits the skies with Rudolph and the other members of Team Reindeer for his one-day-trip around the globe to deliver gifts to all the good boys and girls, he'll take a break from his preparations to make a stop in Evansville for the West Side Nut Club's annual "Santa Land" holiday celebration.

West Side Nut Club's "Santa Land" Set for Two Weekends in December

The annual Christmas party is open to kids and adults of all ages and will take place in the same place it has always taken place, Acorn Plaza, a.k.a. the parking lot at the corner of Franklin Street and 10th Avenue next to Smitty's Italian Steakhouse. The event will happen on Saturday, December 9th, and Sunday, December 10th, then again on Saturday, December 16th, and Sunday, December 17th from 3:00 until 6:00 PM each day.

In addition to Santa being on hand to take pictures with the kids (free of charge, by the way), all four days of the events will also feature a few special guests including Spongebob Squarepants, members of Paw Patrol, Buzz Lightyear, Barney, the Cat in the Hat, and even The Grinch among others.

Admission is free and will also include complimentary cookies and hot chocolate to help keep you warm while you enjoy the festivities.

For more information on the event, send an email to santa-land@nutclub.org.
