This City Has the Best Pizza Joints in All of Indiana

A recent study found the best cities for pizza in America, and you might be surprised which Indiana city is the best in the state for pizza lovers.

Who doesn't enjoy pizza? Whether it be hand-tossed, thin crust, or deep dish, no matter what toppings you prefer, there are always some delicious go-to pizzas here in Indiana. We have so many local pizza restaurants that might not get the love that they deserve. From takeout joints and holes-in-the-wall to restaurants, diners, and cafés that serve up some tasty slices of pizza, the options are endless.  Pizza joints like that are where you will find some of the best pizza.

Recently, Pizzello compiled a list that shows the top 250 cities in America for the best pizzerias, ranked according to their average Google review score. I don't care who you are, when you are a pizza lover, and you see something like this pop up on your newsfeed, you're naturally curious as to which cities in your state made the cut. So where is the best place to get pizza in Indiana? Let's take a look!

This City Has the Best Pizza Joints in All of Indiana

Pizzello says that the best city for pizza lovers in Indiana is none other than Evansville. The southern Indiana city came in at number 42 out of 250 on the list, which is pretty impressive. Being from the Evansville area, it's not surprising to me that the city was named the best in the state for pizza joints. With places like Turoni's, Pizza King, Azzip Pizza, the various Una Pizzas, and many more local pizza joints to choose from, you'd be hard-pressed not to find a bad pizza in Evansville.

Evansville, however, wasn't the only Indiana city featured on this list. Gary came in at number 67, Lafayette at number 119, Indianapolis at number 124, South Bend at 145, and Bloomington coming in at number 220. So, six Indiana cities are among the best cities for pizza lovers in the United States. That's awesome!
