Randy Travis's iconic voice is one that's powerful enough to soothe the hurting of any soul. His music is often what I turn to on not-so-good days, and it always helps me perk up. As you may know, the artist suffered a near-fatal stroke in 2013, which put an end to his career as a country singer. Fans of all ages were heartbroken.

Over the last decade, Randy Travis fans have been treated to occasional unheard recordings and reissues of popular songs, but earlier this year, something new hit country music. In May 2024, the artist made an AI-generated comeback with a new song titled "Where That Came From." Many fans were unsure how to feel about it, but it led to the artist embarking on a 2024 tour, which includes a stop in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on November 3.

Randy Travis to Hit the Road in 2025 For ‘More Life Tour’

On September 17, it was announced that Randy Travis would hit the road again in 2025 for his "More Life Tour," named after a 2022 documentary about Travis's personal life and career. The tour includes the artist himself, his original touring band, and special guest vocalist James Dupré. During the shows, Travis's touring band and Dupré perform all 16 of Travis’s chart-topping hits. Meanwhile, the country music hall of famer and his wife, Mary, are onstage to interact with fans.

So far, most of Randy Travis's new tour dates appear to be in the South and further West, but folks in the Midwest will also have a few chances to see the artist in person. According to Country Music Nation, Travis will be in Joliet, IL, on April 10, and in Effingham, IL, on April 11. He will also be in New Philadelphia, Ohio, on April 25.
