Let's see if what you think is the least trusted restaurant chain in America matches up with what a recent study says.

Indiana has a lot of great restaurants that have been open for years. These restaurants have become staples in that area where people must go whenever they are in town. They are restaurants that can even become bucket-list places to dine at. Whether it be comfort food, burgers, fried chicken, seafood, Italian, Mexican, steakhouses, or any other type of restaurant, there are certain places that stand out among the rest.

That being said, not all fast-food chains are created equal, right? Some are definitely better than others and there are quite a few that you downright avoid. So which restaurant chain is the least trusted in the United States? Well, that's sort of subjective, but that's the question that the website, Clarify Capital set out to answer.

This is the Least Trusted Restaurant Chain in America

According to Clarify Capital, Panera Bread has been voted the least-trusted chain restaurant in the United States. The study found that 20% of American adults surveyed said that Panera Bread is their least trusted restaurant brand.

Panera Bread has 45 locations here in Indiana, and almost everyone I have talked to about Panera enjoys it. So why is Panera the least trusted brand in America? The survey doesn't specifically say for sure. So the question here is this: Do you think Panera is the least trusted restaurant chain in America, or should another chain take that title?

Oh, and if you're wondering, behind Panera was a tie with Chipotle Mexican Grill 18% of respondents cited the eatery as their last trusted, but ranked the lowest with baby boomers, and Sonic with 18% saying it was their least trusted restaurant chain in the country.
