The Final Full Moon of Fall
2023 feels like it's flying by, and we're already just a couple of weeks away from the final full moon of autumn. The full Beaver Moon is the name of November's full moon. According to the Almanac, this particular moon is named the Beaver Moon because it falls during the time beavers usually start to take shelter for the long winter ahead. It's also because back during the fur trade they would trap beavers at this time because it's when they would have their thick winter pelt. You can learn more about this moon and when it will reach peak illumination, here.
