You're invited to Dracula's Birthday Bash...which also happens to be a murder mystery train ride that's coming up in Indiana.

There's a movie that I love watching called "Murder on the Orient Express." It's a murder mystery that takes place on a train. This movie is a classic "ho done it" with a lot of twists and turns along the way.

I often wonder, while watching the movie, how I would fare in a situation like this. Would I be able to observe everyone on the train to try to find any suspicious activity? Furthermore, would I be able to solve the murder before everyone leaves the train? Well, I'm going to have my chance to find out, and so will you, with a unique train ride in Indiana this fall with a Halloween twist.

Here's the cool thing. You will actually play a role in this murder mystery. When you purchase your ticket, you get to decide whether you'd like to be a suspect or a detective.

Suspects will be active participants in the mystery. After ticket purchase, each suspect will need to provide a valid email address. We’ll send a short form to help us assign your role, along with guidance on simple props or costume suggestions. You won’t need to memorize lines or perform for a crowd—just come ready to interact, share clues, and have fun.

Detectives will work to crack the case by interviewing suspects, piecing together clues, and solving the mystery before it’s too late.

Nickel Plate Express says that all passengers are encouraged to dress up for the event. Since it's Dracula's birthday party. Just think like you are a character in Hotel Transylvania. Things like a vampire, a witch, a werewolf, Frankenstein, a mummy...you get the idea.

The Terror in Transylvania Murder Mystery Train Ride takes place October 25th and 26th at the Nickle Plate Express in Noblesville, Indiana. You can learn more and get your tickets by clicking here. 16 Indiana Towns with Dirty-Sounding Names

A majority of these towns were given their names in the mid-to-late 1800s as settlers making their way across the country found unclaimed plots of land and decided to make them their own. While I imagine they thought the names they came up with were innocent, and perhaps a tribute to something in their lives, pop culture has warped our minds to the point since then that we can't help but think of something about the town that was never intended by its founders. Take a look at this list. I guarantee there's at least one name that will make you chuckle.
