A Unique Way to Promote Recycling

Have you heard of the giant trolls that are hidden all over the world? They are a part of an art installation created by Thomas Dambo. He is a Danish recycling artist who quite his job in 2011 to show people that art can be made out of trash.

Some of his most popular art installations are his giant trolls which are hidden all over the world.

In 2011 I quit my job to become an artist and follow my mission to 'Waste no more'.
Today, I spend my life showing the world that beautiful things can be made out of trash. I give new life to discarded materials by turning them into large-scale artworks. My journey has led me to create artworks in 20 countries across five continents, including my giant Trolls , plastic works , birdhouses , and Happy Wall exhibitions .

These trolls are truly a sight to see. It's amazing that something so massive can be created out of trash. It's inspiring and thought-provoking.

A Giant Troll Road Trip

While some of Thomas Dambo's giant trolls are hidden, he does have a troll map on his website where you can find most of the trolls' locations. Recently Hidden Gems USA Travel shared a road trip they created that would take you to see several of the giant trolls that are hidden around Kentucky and Tennessee.

The road trip will take you from Memphis, Tennessee to Bernheim Forest and Arboretum in Kentucky, which is located between Elizabethtown and Louisville.
