Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Wants to Buy Your Appetizer at These Evansville Restaurants

Finally...The Rock is buying appetizers for the millions and millions of The Rock's fans! Even for us here in Evansville!

Dwayne Johnson is a man who goes by many names. The Rock, The Great One, The People's Champ, The Final Boss, Rocky Maivia, Flex Kavana...you get the idea. Aside from being one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time, as well as a major Hollywood actor, Dwayne Johnson is also a very successful entrepreneur. He has several "side gigs" that he has launched, such as the Project Rock Under Armour line, his Seven Bucks Production Company, the UFL, Zoa Energy Drinks, and his men's care line called Papatui. Another product brought to you by the most electrifying man in all of entertainment is the tequila brand, Teremana, that he launched back in 2020.

Personally, I am not a tequila person, but Teremana is pretty good. My wife especially enjoys it. One thing that I wasn't aware of with The Rock's tequila brand is that for the past five years, Teremana has had a pretty interesting promotion.

Originally designed to get people out and supporting small, local businesses, the “Guac on the Rock” promotion was where Dwayne Johnson would pay for your order of guacamole at the Mexican restaurant where you ordered a cocktail made with his tequila. Over the past five years, the Teremana brand has expanded into all different types of restaurants and bars. That's why this year, Johnson is expanding the promotion to go just beyond guac; now, he’s buying you the appetizer of your choice at restaurants beyond Mexican establishments.

What is "Guac on the Rock"?

“Guac on the Rock” runs from May 1 through May 31, although it is capped at $1 million nationwide in reimbursements. It’s appropriate that the promotion takes place in the month of May, because not only did we have Cinco de Mayo on May 5, but it’s also The Rock’s birthday month. The Final Boss was born on May 2, 1972.

How Does “Guac on the Rock” Work?

Anyone who is 21 or older who purchases a cocktail made with Teremana tequila and either guacamole or an appetizer can be reimbursed up to $10, whether you dine in or take out.

Then, go to GuacOnTheRock.com and upload your receipt before June 5. You will be reimbursed up to $10 per person for a single appetizer order, which will be paid to you via Venmo once approved.
