Even Pilots Can’t Explain a Weird Light on Illinois Doorbell Cam

I've watched three different videos and shown others and none of us can explain what has just appeared on an Illinois doorbell cam. It's a strange light that almost looks like a meteor, but the movement isn't the same.

According to this very recent share on the National UFO Reporting Center site, a home in Carol Stream, Illinois captured multiple videos of a light that first looks like a meteor, but instead of streaking through the sky, it slows down and appears to move in a different direction. I highly recommend you watch the 3 videos on the NUFORC site.

This sighting happened the night of February 10, 2025 and was shared on February 17 with the NUFORC site. Here's a snippet of their eyewitness testimony providing more backstory:

"Our house faces north and watching the video, you are looking north west. The oval shaped white light appears and descends from the sky. It moved very slowly, eventually disappearing behind the tree/ roof tops."

This Illinois UFO/UAP sighting gets even stranger

The family that captured the videos contacted the police and showed them the object. They were unable to explain it. 

On Saturday, February 15, they took the videos to the DuPage Flight Center, located at the DuPage Airport, 2700 International Drive in West Chicago. There were 7 people present including several pilots. None of them could explain what this object is.
