It was one of the grandest shopping areas in all of Missouri during its zenith, but it was also the scene of a horrific murder. Now, it's been demolished and is gone forever, but there's one final walkthrough so you can see what little remained here.

I remember when the Jamestown Mall in St. Louis was one of the must-stop places when you had shopping to do. Sadly, its decline over the years also included tragic stories like July of 2008 when a man shot and killed his ex-wife before taking his own life.

I remember many potential development ideas coming forward in the 2010's when some held out hope that someone could make the Jamestown Mall renovation worthwhile and turn it into a vital place again. That never came to fruition.

There are new designs on what this 140 acres of St. Louis, Missouri area land could be. Let's hope it all comes together so this place that saw so much decay won't become a complete waste.
