The St. Louis Zoo is hosting a new lantern festival this spring, which will be amazing.

The St. Louis Zoo will celebrate something new this spring, hosting the Animals Aglow Lantern Festival from March 13 to May 5. This is a walk-through festival where 50 lanterns towering over you will depict animals, plants, and traditional Chinese elements.
See dozens of new, hand-constructed lantern displays illuminated by thousands of LED lights around the Zoo. Plus, enjoy nightly Chinese cultural performances.
You will need tickets for the Lantern Festival and they are on sale now. This is not a free event so tickets will need to be purchased. If you can try and make it during the weekday that will be the cheapest way to go when visiting the festival, on the weekends the prices do increase. Tickets are non-refundable (other than weather) so make sure when you buy tickets you are 100% sure you can make it on the night you choose to go.
As always there will be a sensory-friendly night for those who want to to go the festival but might need it to be not as loud. That night will take place on April 7. I love how the St. Louis Zoo caters to all of its visitors to ensure everyone has a chance to take in this amazing festival.
