New Ag Innovation Farm Research Facility Now Open in Illinois

Nutrien Ag Solutions has opened an Innovation Farm in Tolono, Illinois. Data collection, compilation and simulation in the ag industry is growing exponentially, and all are to be utilized at this location.

The Tolono facility focuses on obtaining weather information and making up to the moment updates available to partners in the vicinity. Also, with the real time weather info will be broadcasts, as the staff will also be producing video segments with consultants, agronomists, and partners for distribution to growers in Illinois.

Special events will also be held at the new Innovation Farm to highlight new products, applications and modernizations. Nutrien Ag Solutions will be including the local community and potentially area schools in the form of field trips and visits from ag clubs.

The farm has 250 acres of tillable land that are to be rotated between corn and soybeans allowing for practical application of new techniques and solutions.

The Corn Growers Association and the Soybean Growers Association have already been invited to conduct meetings at the Innovation Farm in Tolono, Il.

The three other locations for Nutrien Ag Innovation Farm Facilities in the United States are in Kentucky, Mississippi and California.
