You can't go wrong with seafood this time of year, especially when it comes to what one website says is the best seafood restaurant in Indiana.

Summertime brings us beach vacations, days on the lake, BBQs, and so much more. It also ushers in seafood season. The summertime weather is the perfect pairing with lobster rolls, crab cakes, oysters, shrimp boils, and of course fish fries. Whatever you prefer with seafood, it doesn't taste any better than when consumed during the summer months.

The Best Seafood Restaurant in Indiana

Now, Indiana isn't one of those states that sit along the coast with a wide array of fresh seafood. However, we do have a lot of great seafood restaurants scattered all throughout the state. When it comes to the best seafood in Indiana, it's all subjective. We all have our personal favorites. So, take this for what it's worth. If anything, it might just give you a new seafood restaurant to try out this year.

According to 24/7 Wall St, the best seafood restaurant in Indiana is Paula's On Main in Fort Wayne.

A high-end establishment with a warm, rustic vibe and an attached seafood market, Paula’s on Main boasts a huge selection of fish entrees including a famous almond-crusted walleye with jalapeño tartar sauce and a blackened swordfish with horseradish, crispy shallots, and chive mashed potatoes. Customers rave about the crab cakes, Chilean sea bass, and Key lime pie.

LOOK: Here's Why Indiana is Pretty Much the Best Place on Earth [As Told by Hoosiers]

Reddit user, u/youcanneverbanme recently asked their fellow Hoosiers in the Indiana subreddit what they liked about living here. The question received hundreds of responses and the vast majority of them were positive. Of course, there were some that were negative because there are sad people who are perpetually angry on the internet and want everyone to know it for some reason, but we won't concern ourselves with those. We want to focus on the good, and when it comes to the good, there's plenty of it to enjoy.
