5 Small Town Indiana Restaurants Actor John Schneider Highly Recommends
We rely on fellow foodies to give their honest restaurant reviews on sites like Tri-State Restaurant Reviews before we head out to eat. What if a Hollywood celebrity gave you a restaurant recommendation? Oh, and the restaurants are in a cute Southern Indiana town - I say road trip!
Actor John Schneider is best known for his roles as Bo Duke in The Dukes of Hazard, and Jonathan Kent in Smallville. Schneider is now a Hoosier, and he has chosen the best small town in the Midwest as his new home. Madison, Indiana is full of history and a vibrant restaurant scene.
The Crêperie
I have never had a crepe, but I have seen them many times on The Food Network, and they look amazing. The Crêperie is a woman-owned eatery located inside The Gallery 115. It's like a taste of Paris in Indiana.
Rivertown Grill
You can almost see the Ohio River from Rivertown Grill, and after a day of exploring Madison, live music and a great meal are always great decisions.
Red on Main
The menu at Red on Main has something for everyone. From veggie burgers to fried catfish, and a full bar, it is a local favorite.
Hinkle's Sandwich Shop
Hinkle's Sandwich Shop is as historic as Downtown Madison. The menu features classic diner favorites like cheeseburgers and shakes.
If you are going to stop in for brunch or an amazing steak at River Oak Chophouse, keep in mind that they do take reservations and hold private events. This is a very high-scale menu complete with signature drinks and chef-inspired entrees.
