Healing Reins Annual Christmas on the Farm Happening in Henderson Nov 23-24
Since Thanksgiving falls so late this year, many people are getting into the Christmas spirit before turkey day. I am really excited an event happening in Henderson, KY, this weekend that will kick off Christmas season just perfectly. The Healing Reins organization which provides horseback riding therapy to individuals with special needs is hosting their annual Christmas on the Farm fundraising event and if you want a good old fashioned Christmas experience, this has to be on your Christmas list!

Please join us at Blue Moon Stables in Henderson Kentucky as we Celebrate "Christmas on the Farm." Enjoy the holidays in a family farm setting with Santa, ponies, delicious food, Baird's petting zoo, antique tractors and hay rides.
Begin your holiday shopping with our local vendors providing unique gifts and goodies! Experience the magic as the stables and old tobacco barn are transformed into holiday joy with beautiful Christmas lights and the pony barn is turned into a colorful gingerbread barn. NEW: This year we welcome the Southwest Dairy Farmers Mobile Dairy Classroom, learn about the dairy industry and view a live milking demonstration.
Christmas on the Farm will be an opportunity to bring the entire family for pony rides, hay rides, pictures with Santa, shop local vendors, hot chocolate, baked goods, antique tractors, pedal tractors for the kids and Baird's petting zoo. Come have your child's photo taken with Santa for Christmas cards! Kids can come fill out their letter to Santa and play at the corn tables or ride a stick pony. Children get to visit with the adorable Mrs. Claus, have a warm cookie and embellish their own keepsake horseshoe ornament! Child's Pass includes 1 pony ride, 1 hay ride and 1 Cookies and Crafts with Mrs. Claus and face painting.

Through equine assisted therapies, we help enhance participants physically, emotionally, cognitively, and socially. This therapy builds balance & coordination, flexibility, core muscle strength, sequencing, speech and communication, self-esteem and self-confidence.
